Grandma Parker's Mac & Cheese
4 quarts boiling water
1 tea salt
2 cups elbow mac or 1 pound
2 cups sharp cheese grated
2 cups white sauce
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 table spoon of butter.
1. Boil pasta and drain most of water. Leave about 2 cups of water in pasta.
2. Add cheese and white sauce to pasta water.
3. Add spices and stir.
4. Stir in bread crumbs
5. Place mixture in deep baking dish.
6. Melt butter and drizzle over top.
7. Bake for 25-30 min at 350.
